Laozi






Laozi was the first philosopher of Chinese Taoism in the 6th century BC. He was traditionally named as the author of the Daodejing.
  
Zhuangzi
Zhuangzi, or "Master Zhuang", was a native of the state of Meng, on the border of present-day Shandong and Henan provinces, and is said to have lived as a solitary person. He is ranked among the greatest of literary and philosophical giants that China has produced. Zhuangzi's style is Mythical, narrative, humorous and indirect. Zhuangzi preached about a holistic philosophy of life; it encourages removing yourself from the outer world and cultivate our natural skills so we can live a simple and natural life but full and flourishing life. Zhuangzi argued for a mode of understanding that isn't restrained to a fixed system.
Liezi
Liezi (Master Lie) his original name was Lie Yukou. he is one of the three main philosophers who developed the basics of Taoist philosophy. He is the presumed author of the Taoist work  Liezi which uses his honorific name. Many of his writing s have been later identified as forgeries. some people believe that he was invented by Zhuangzi.

Zhang Daoling

Zhang Daoling was the founder and first patriarch of organized religious Taoism. Zhang composed a Taoist work that attracted many followers among Chinese and indigenous groups in Sichuan.




Zhang Jiao
Zhang Jiao  was the leader of the Yellow Turbans during the period of the late Eastern Han Dynasty in China. He was said to be a sorcerer, and was a follower of Taoism. Giving himself the title of "Great Teacher."







Zhang Sanfeng





Zhang Sanfeng, was a semi-mythical Chinese Taoist priest who is believed by some to have achieved immortality, said variously to date from either the late Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, or Ming Dynasty. His name is said to have been Zhang Junbao before he became a Taoist.
